Behavia Therapy provides in-home ABA therapy for children with autism in San Rafael and central Marin County. Our BCBAs and behavior technicians work with families in San Rafael, Terra Linda, San Anselmo, and Larkspur to deliver individualized therapy in the comfort of your home.
We are actively serving families in Marin County and growing our North Bay team. Whether your child is newly diagnosed, waiting on a regional center referral, or transitioning from another provider, we'll help you take the next step.
San Rafael families choose Behavia because we bring therapy to your home. No driving down 101 to a clinic in the city, no rearranging your child's routine around traffic on the Richmond bridge. Our behavior technicians come to you, and your child practices skills in the places they'll actually use them: your kitchen, your backyard, your neighborhood park.
As one of the trusted ABA providers in California, we accept Medi-Cal through Partnership HealthPlan of California and most major insurance plans, so quality ABA therapy is accessible regardless of your financial situation. Our intake team verifies your coverage before services begin.
Medi-Cal in Marin County is administered by Partnership HealthPlan of California, which we accept. We also work with Kaiser Permanente families, including those whose pediatrician is at Kaiser San Rafael Medical Center, and with Aetna. Contact us to verify your specific plan.
New to Partnership HealthPlan? Our guide to ABA therapy through Partnership HealthPlan explains how the benefit works for North Bay and Solano families.
Golden Gate Regional Center serves Marin County families. It coordinates Early Start services for children under three and Lanterman Act services for eligible children and adults, and it is often the first place a San Rafael family hears about ABA. If your child has a regional center service coordinator, we are happy to coordinate with them.
San Rafael City Schools, the Miller Creek School District, and the Marin County Office of Education handle IEPs and school-based supports. In-home ABA complements what happens at school, and with your permission we coordinate with your child's school team so goals line up across settings.
